  18. The SuperBuster chips of A3000/A3000T systems use a PLCC package.  These chips
  19. are the ones that has the pins on all four sides.  There is a special tool
  20. for removing these chips correctly.  I have seen the PLCC chip pullers sell
  21. for around 10 bucks or so.

  23. I have heard of people using a screw driver to do it, but sometimes these
  24. chips are hard to get out with the tool, let alone trying to hack it out, and
  25. replacing a broken PLCC socket will be expensive.
